Help Shape the Future of the Splash Pad at Goodyear Park

The City of Portage has an existing splash pad along with a playground, at Goodyear Park, located 920 Dewitt St.  The existing splash pad and playground are approaching the end of their useful life, and the City is evaluating what should come next for this community space. As part of that effort, the City is exploring options to replace and improve the current splash pad with a new splash pad as well as an inclusive playground. The City would like community input to help guide future planning and investment decisions. Your feedback will help determine priorities, amenities, and overall direction for this potential project.

Community Room Rentals

Our Community Room at the new Park & Rec Facility is now open to the public for private rentals. If you have a birthday party, family reunion, baby shower, or any other event coming up, be sure to check out this new indoor space! To reserve this space, you can either complete the reservation process online (select Facilities, then Community Room), or stop into our office at 401 Cemetery Road.

  • 60 chairs and 30 tables (2ft x 5ft)
  • Counter top with electrical outlets (no sink or refrigerator)
  • 85" mounted TV with USB and HDMI capability
