Community Pool

The Portage Community School District will be closing the Llewellyn Breese Memorial Pool (Rusch Pool) at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year. We are currently working on plans to build a new aquatics facility, and the public will have the opportunity to provide the school district with feedback through community surveys that will be distributed to families that live in the Portage Community School District in early April. If there is support for a new aquatics facility then it will be part of a potential referendum in November of 2024. The PCSD understands that this is an inconvenience and is working hard to find a solution and bring an aquatics facility back to Portage as soon as possible.
