Facility Details

Veteran’s Memorial Fields – 36.1 acre park located between Superior Street and Wauona Trail. This park is host to a shelter and concession stand facility with restrooms, electricity, ballfields, soccer fields, fair grounds, and grandstand. This park is host to the annual Columbia County Fair, numerous City-wide event celebrations and special events, along with Portage High School varsity soccer, and Portage Youth Soccer. The Fritz Port Dog Park is also located within this complex. Several buildings are available for rent for events and activities by contacting the office. Winter storage of vehicles and equipment is held annually from October through April at this location.
