The Portage Family Skate Park began construction in 2016 through fundraising by the Portage Family Skate Park group and partnership with the City of Portage, with Phase III being completed in 2023.
All general park rules apply with addition of:
Skateboards, roller skates and scooters may use the park but bicycles are not allowed.
Proper protective equipment is highly encouraged.
Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
Competitive events and/or demonstrations require prior approval of the Park and Recreation Department.
Creating obstacles, jumps, ramps, or moving items into the skatepark is not allowed.
The park is unsupervised and skate at your own risk.
This park has 24-hour security cameras.
